My guess is with Hank and Gomez dying, Walt is gonna be on the run ('member how he had facial hair and was in a diner celebrating his 52nd bday?). Not sure what's gonna happen to Jesse though.

Jesse will find a way to weasel out unharmed and ruin things for Walt again down the line.

Well, considering Walt didn't want Todd and his uncle's crew to harm Hank and Gomez...he actually does "care" (father-like) for Jesse. So my guess is Jesse and Walt will live.

I think Jesse is fundamentally the show's moral center of gravity. Hank, in the last episode, said he'd have no problem with having set up Jesse to be murdered by Walt if that's what it took to snare Walt. At this point Hank is far from morally unimpeachable.

Yup. Hank was essentially "using" Jesse to screw Walt these last couple of episodes.

The sense I get about the final episode is that Walt has, at a minimum, left town, and, more likely, faked his own death and/or used Saul's vacuum-cleaner guy to create a new identity. (Remember how shocked Carol the neighbor looks when she sees Walt?) I would guess Walt comes back to ABQ to save someone, probably Jesse.

that could be it, Walt and Jessie live, but walt gets away so todds crew forces Jessie to cook for them. Walt comes back to save him.

Walt prob gets away with his fam possibly actually to NH, and starts a new life under Skylers maiden name (which was the last name on the ID in season 1 of ep 5)

Yeah I loved it. So far E4 is the only one I didn't think was amazing, and in fairness, in an 8 episode final season there had to be one or two that weren't mind-blowing. Apparently Vince Gilligan is letting each of the writers direct an episode in the final season, and the guy who directed last week had never directed before (as opposed to Michelle MacLaren, who directed tonight and has handled many other awesome episodes, including S5E8).

My guess it'll either be:
1) Walt won't cook if Jesse dies (tried and true)
2) Jack uses Jesse to cook permanently.

Walt needed to get rid of Jesse a long time ago. Now, It just annoys the shit out of me over the amount of indecision Walt has about what to do about Jesse's behavior.

Of course, Jesse IS a coward and only ran to the cops because he couldn't get Walt otherwise...now, he is trying to weasel out of the shootout. I was hoping they would just snipe Jesse and piece out. Of course, Hank would have been all over Walt's ass.

Anyway, seeing as how Hank and Gomie are carrying out this unauthorized undercover investigation...I don't see how any of this info they gathered can be used against Walt.

This one was exceptionally egregious. Multiple high caliber weapons, all with plenty of time to sight on just two targets who are completely out in the open. They shoot first, and for some seconds Hank and Gomez just stand there and return fire. Yet not even so much of a flesh wound.

Plus, if you really want to nitpick, it was apparent from the verbal exchange that these guys would never have opened fire if Hank & Gomez Pyle could have just proved they were cops.

So, both were armed but somehow left their badges at home? Even if they had, were I either of them, I would have immediately started shouting out my name, my rank, my years with the force, anything that might have continued to give this army of bad guys further reason to rethink killing me.

Instead, they said nothing. But, yeah, I know, that's how TV works.

Yeah no kidding, They were outnumbered 6 to 1. The bad guys also had high powered assault weapons. That shootout was lame and unbelievable.

While I agree the Nazi's were terrible shots, you honestly think those same Nazis would have put down their guns had Hank and Gomez showed their badges? They were just drawing them closer so they could miss with their first 100 shots. Each.
