I didn't read the recent discussions and it's probably covered by now. But what's your prediction?
I think Walter will die in the hands of DEA, maybe in a grandoise fashion in front of his family- Skyler and his son. Hank will have a bittersweet time as he will be forced to play a hand in Walter's death.
Jesse runs away or vanishes successfully. But he's never the same again- living with a scar of his life. Saul is either arrested or manages to disappear too.
The entire drug ring will go down or get hinted at it- the whole parent company of Gus Fring & Lizzy (whatever that chick's name is).
Walter will die in a bittersweet way- he's glad he got to finally break that mundane lifestyle as a failed business-venture-turned-HS-teacher. But he'll also realize what he's become and look at his family with a genuine guilt.
What I think *should* happen, but won't: Everyone except Walt dies. That's been the theme of the series, Walt poisons everything around him in the name of family, yet keeps skating through somehow. It would be a fitting end to see everything Walt cared about lie in ruins, Skylar and the kids dead, Hank and Marie dead, Jesse dead while he is captured and has to live on, alone in prison finally forced to deal with who he had become and what it cost him. That's how Heisenberg should go out, but it's too dark and Vince won't kill the kids.
Wild-ass prediction on what will happen:
Walt goes on the lam to New Hampshire to avoid Hank and the DEA. Skylar and the kids stay in New Mexico as Hank chooses to protect them by covering or ignoring Skylar's involvement. Jesse gets the hell out of Dodge and disappears with his money because Walt warns him in time. While hiding in New Hampshire Walt hears that someone/something has Skylar and the kids in danger. Either Lydia wants to tie up loose ends, the European mob want to force him to start cooking again, the Phoenix gang is upset that he's getting out without fullfilling his end of the methlamine bargain, whatever. That's why he comes back to town and buys the machine gun seen in the flash-forward opening to season 5, to protect them from the retribution that he earned and they'll be forced to face. He dies bloody, but manages a small measure of redemption. Skylar gets away, Jesse gets sucked back in and dies, Saul is fine as there's talk of a spin-off, so he can't die.
What won't happen:
Walt won't die of cancer. Too easy, not forcing him to face responsibility for all he's done. Walt has to die violently. Maybe Walt got bad news already and knows he's dying from the cancer, that tips the scales and leads him to the big bloody showdown with whomever. As he's got nothing to live for he decides to take out as many of his enemies as possible with him. Cancer might be the impetus for how Walt goes out, but it won't be the cause of death.
And of course, every word of that is likely wrong.
