Overly remorseful Jesse is annoying. He's one character who doesn't annoy me often.

Agreed. Other than the brief Lydia v Skylar bit it was pretty hum-drum episode heading into the last scene. But that saved it.

Overly remorseful Jesse looks like the key to a lot of shit that will go down this season. He's either going after Walt personally or will break down to such a degree that it's going to attract attention Walt's way. Now that it looks clear that Hank isn't going to be the one to take out Walt Jesse will be the catalyst.

Good ending to the episode. I'm so used to waiting for the seasons to finish so I could watch one after the other. I normally hate waiting for the next episodes each week. I did the same with dexter. I'm not a big tv watcher at all but this has to be one of the best shows on tv. It's going to suck when it's over.

I forgot how bad SD was until tonight. No AMCHD, no FXX for The League, and the DVR functionality is suddenly gone (along with my recordings) from my cable box. Yay $70/mo.

Possible. I hadn't considered that, but it makes sense. It wouldn't be too shocking if Saul helped too. Hank knows Jesse and Walt are partners and if Hank can't take out Walt through official channels without wrecking his career he might be able to get Jesse to do it. Saul is afraid of Walt and would back Jesse if Jesse wanted to whack him.

I think Walt is going to go out in a blaze of glory confrontation with the authorities. The writers of this series seem to love using foreshadowing and watching an episode of season 5, the one where Walt bought the new cars, got me thinking. He and Junior were watching the famous "Say hello to my little friend" scene in Scarface and Walt was totally into it. Now the 'peek into the future' scenes show Walt with a massive gun and ammo in the back of the Cadillac. Maybe it's just a coincidence but I'm thinking Walt is going to use the Ricin on himself (maybe a face full of it, in another hat tip to Scarface), just to be sure he doesn't last long, then he goes to town on those trying to bring him to justice. After all, he's dying and has nothing to lose anyway.

Great ending, I'd imagine this will raise the awkward meter to the extreme if Hank and Walt play along with the secrecy and the families decide to spend some time together. Walt said his cancer is back and it appears to be since he was getting chemo. But we don't know if it is fatal or not. He could have just used it to appeal to Hank.

I think the purpose of this episode is to set the stage for the final seven. Whiny Jesse is getting annoying, hopefully he snaps out of it next episode.

Great episode. I thought they would really make the hank finding out last a while. So glad they went straight into it.
