What you mean like the poeple who got run over in New York by a truck? The problems remains.... unstable leftists. I have had a firearm in my house since i was 12. It never shot or threatened anyone.

Neither did the Las Vegas shooters guns for decades..... until they did....

I would be extremely surprised if it was an atheist activist. That literally makes no sense at all.

Really? You are REALLY going to start this? There are 26 people dead and you're going to bitch about how Trump is going to handle it? As an administrator on this forum, I'd honestly expect better from you. Grow up.

If the president doesn't do anything, this will continue. It will get worse.

Obama proved that. He did nothing (whether his fault or the fault of Republican obstructionism is irrelevant, he couldn't get anything done) and we've had tons of shootings during his era and will continue to have shootings during the Trump era.

Individual states havent done much either, but as pointed out many times, if you can buy full auto weapons in Nevada then drive without harassment to Mass. and shoot a bunch of people, state gun laws wont matter much.

Yes, because having 300 million guns in circulation is doing a great job of stopping these events......

There's the approval rating of Congress, and then there's your vote for your Congressperson.
Many view the weapon at their side as the only thing between them and being trapped in a room with a madman.

They do not believe in the betterment of society as a whole, just their ability to protect themselves from it.

Understood. I just felt it to be a bit insensitive to be more concerned about what he will say rather than to be concerned about the families that lost a loved one. To each their own I suppose.....

Glad you are so concerned about the victims of gun violence in Chicago.... oh wait you are not since you dont give two shits about those people...only the victims that fit your narrative.

I bet the blood was even dry before Hillary was tweeting about gun control. Even though in a recent attack in Nice, France saw more poeple killed and just as many injured that the Las Vegas shooting in about 1/2 the time using a truck as a weapon.
Clinton hasn't said a word. Weird little obsession though. You'd think you would at least look first

How long did it take that piece of shit Trump to tweet about banning immigrants after New York though?

Fully auto is regulated at the federal level and require an ATF background check. They are incredibly cost prohibitive to purchase. I can't think of the last time we had a fully auto mass shooting in this country. Maybe in the 1930s during prohibition?

Is that bad?
In a language you must have grown accustomed to by now. You're stupid.
Translation: Meaning yes or no or a detailed explanation for any one asking a question knowingly incapable of intelligent thought.

Was that helpful?

Well, you can donate blood if you want.

I did after Charlottesville. Was not able to donate after Las Vegas because it was too soon according to my local blood bank (less than 12 weeks).

But many of us would like the government to do something actually useful so we wont have to go thru this tragedy several times per year. Thats much better than crying for strangers over and over again.

I wish there was an easy solution for this, or even a coherent one I could support. I'm so sick of reading these stories. A truck, a gun, a bomb, what the hell are we supposed to do?

We really need to start focusing on local issues in my opinion. Ranting and raving about distant national politics or problems seems to keep our focus away from the problems at our doorstep.
Ensuring education, healthcare, a real possibility for people who work hard to feel like they can get by, rights that aren't turned over to the detriment of portions of society might go a long way.

There is really not much our govt can do. Even an outright ban and confiscation via a constitutional amendment repealing the 2nd won't stop lone wolf scenarios. Or a coordinated attack ala France. btw this lone wolf situation that happens several times a year is a uniquely american thing.

I don't think anyone said that they were more concerned about Trump. We grieve, we pray, but we also look to our leaders for comfort and solutions. Oh wait.

Please don't insult wolves, and this is hardly a "uniquely American" thing.
