Some good info on the frequent screening:Skins fan,
Could you PM me or post some more information about the types of things you guys typically look out for? What kind of screening is done? Some psychological assessments are pretty hard to "fake out" even if the person is normally unwilling to disclose things. PTSD is a tough nut to crack.

Also, if you type "us army ptsd tbi training" into Google, you'll also see a ton of info on the training we receive and all of the efforts being put into addressing both.
We also do a lot of mandatory suicide prevention training each year wherein we learn how to recognize the signs in ourselves/others, how to handle it when we recognize those signs, and what resources are available to soldiers who suffer from depression or thoughts of suicide.
I was serious when I stated that I'm really not sure what more could be done to address these problems, but I'm certainly willing to hear new ideas.
