Whew! Speaking of shotgun approach! You really loaded up the usual charcterizations of propaganda, huh? Let 'er fly!

The Tea Party isn't about any of that. It's about self righteous delusionists tearing down the govt to enhance the power of the financial elite. The only parts of big govt that their hidden leadership oppose are the social & environmental programs they created the need for in the first place. They're all about big military, big security, big prison industrial complex, big corporate empires, big media & big tax breaks for what has become a lootocracy.

All in the face of the worst economic setbacks for working people since the Great Depression. Perhaps you missed the irony in the utterly dishonest Job Creator! meme dragged out in the wake of that. It merely hints at the underlying threats of extortion.

I did enjoy the way you attempted to misrepresent the APT, something that apparently scares the shit out of the wheeler-dealers currently running the economic casino for their own benefit.

So what about Jeb? I mean, the whores are lining up for inspection. Will he be chosen, or is there one purtier? Whadda ya think? New dress, or a complete makeover?
lol Just as I suspected, buggy code. Not quite up to answering a question, just programmed to spit out the foamy proggie nonsense associated with particular words.

How will the base react when they find out Jeb is not a conservative.

They had no trouble nominating GWB, McCain, or Romney.

It'd be a surprise if they DID nominate a conservative, probably be the first such choice in my life time.

Reduced to nothing but personal attack. Excellent.

You really do understand much better than your fellow travelers. You just pretend not to.

Lasn & Occupy will play no part in the Repub nomination process, other than to serve as a fear mongerer's boogeyman. The Tea Party will & their ultimate preference will be that of their financial backers, bet on that. The guys at the top can't afford to let the nuttiness advance too far, however, but they do need to entertain the delusions of the base.

Jeb may be able to fulfill that role. Scott Walker is a rising star in their stable, a proven performer for the cause of the oppressed Rich. Rick Scott might do, and there are obviously others steeped in that ideology to choose from as well. The casting couch will get a workout, that's for sure.

As with all things Republican, just follow the money.

Conservatives are going to bitch, moan and groan throughout their primaries, threaten to stay home and watch the place burn down and then turn out and vote their asses off for 'their candidate' come election time. The Republican party counts on that and their constituents deliver for them nearly every election. They let the nutjobs steam just enough to heat up the rest of the party and push for victory. Unfortunately that victory usually means 'they' win and everyone else loses.

When it comes to pushing the buttons of their constituents, Democrats are mere pikers compared to Republicans.

Jeb needs to have Dick Cheney search for a suitable running partner so he can end up recommending Liz. That way they can recycle the bumper stickers from 2000 and 2004.

Agree. Time for someone else.
The name doesn't fucking matter. The same people are calling the shots, regarless of who the figure-head is.

What we need is a new political party. The Democrapublicans can die in a fucking fire.

(Unless you're a single-issue retar...sorry, single-issue voter...yes, the two parties are functionally the same.)

Time for a fucking revolution.

This whole democracy thing was a bad idea from the start. We should just establish a monarchy with the Bush family at the helm.

I won't vote for him unless he has Dick Cheney or Rumsfeld as his running mate.
How about Hillary as his running mate? There is pretty much only one party from an ideological perspective these days. Why not make it official? Clinton-Bush or Bush-Clinton. Makes no difference which way you stack them.

You do realize, don't you, that many conservatives DID stay home in 2012; if the estimates I saw 2 years ago are accurate, up to 4 million.

So his views aren't important, only who his dad is?

You are always so quick to bash discrimination yet so quick to practice it. Way to stick to the liberal playbook!

Do you see the hypocrisy in your post about hypocrisy that then generalizes all liberals?

According to exit polls the percentage of the electorate on that self-identified as conservatives as the same in 2012 as it was in the preceding two elections.
2012:
http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/how_groups_voted/voted_12.html

2008:
http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/how_groups_voted/voted_08.html

2004:
http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/how_groups_voted/voted_04.html

Additionally, the number of Americans who self-identify as conservatives has remained relatively stable over this time period.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/166787/liberal-self-identification-edges-new-high-2013.aspx

Had 4 million additional conservatives voted that would have made the percentage of self-described conservatives turning out much, much higher than historical trends. That seems highly unlikely.

Get ready to be told how to run your home, house and decide for your own family.

http://thinkprogress.org/election/2014/12/17/3604615/michael-schiavo-jeb-bush/
“If you want a government that’s gonna intrude on your life, enforce their personal views on you, then I guess Jeb Bush is your man,”

And, get ready to be punished for not bending to Jeb's will;
He also recalled that after Schiavo’s death, Jeb Bush went after Michael Schiavo personally, asking the state’s attorney to investigate whether he had called 911 fast enough. “It was very odd, almost like a personal vendetta the governor had towards Michael Schaivo.” The state’s attorney found no evidence against him and closed the case. “The propriety of using your office to hunt and harass people, as the governor did to Mr. Schiavo after his wife’s death, I think raises significant questions about his judgment and his character,” Felos said.

Sounds like perfect GOP Presidential material; no big government, unless it's over something I do not agree with - then Uncle Sam needs to stop you.

It sounds exactly like some things that Obama has had Holder doing for the past six years. Are you OK with that? I'm thinking you embrace it with a huge smile and a knowing nod.

Oh, and thinkprogress

If a Republican ends up in the White House next go round you couldn't have a better friend than Jeb Bush. He's a Democrat that's so confused he thinks he's a Republican.

Sounds, or is? What did Holder/Obama do, that is exactly like what happened with Terri Schiavo??

That is not true at all. Examples

1. Democrats support socialized medicine, Republicans do not
2. Democrats support global warming mitigation, Republicans do not
3. Democrats support gay marriage, Republicans do not
4. Democrats support abortion rights, Republicans do not
5. Democrats should not support military adventures, Republicans do
6. Democrats should not support free trade, Republicans do
7. Democrats support tight banking regulation, Republicans do not
8. Democrats support unions, Republicans do not
9. Democrats support higher taxes on the rich, Republicans do not
10. Democrats support meaningful raises in the minimum wage, Republicans do not
11. Democrats support a social safety net, Republicans do not
12. Democrats support science in the public schools, Republicans support theology instead

etc....

There are differences if you take the time to look....

Some of your "examples" are bullshit.

Just because some fools in our congress are bringing religion into politics doesn't mean the rest of us true economic conservatives care to bring in shit like gay marriage, abortion, "science in public schools" as you call it.

Now c'mon, my Dad says my soul is in danger of hell because of my support for Obama. He believes it is a sin to vote for someone like Obama. He represent the Tea Party base for the Republicans. The social nuttiness is a SIGNIFICANT foundation of the Republican Party. You may wish it not to be so, but unfortunately it is.

My belief/understanding is that Jeb has a fully in tact and functioning brain. But, I really hate how we essentially have dynastic rulers.... We had already 2 bushes, how about we get somebody who has no history of politics in their family tree.... Another Bush is a bad idea, even if it is the smartest Bush of the Bush bunch.

It all makes sense now...

Depends on if you agree with his Cuba policy or not.

Jeb ain't no dummy. He knows which side his bread is buttered on.

You don't think all Cuban immigrants were poor when they got here, do you?

It's one thing to question a source, entirely another to dismiss the factual content in a story.

So what you're saying is that none of that happened, right?
