Breaking: Shooting at CT elementary school

With the way things are going in this country, it literally could happen.

All it takes is for the economy to finally flat crash or Obummer to piss off the wrong people. approximately 49.9 percent are not happy with the country as a whole right now.
And things are not getting better they are getting worse.

I know quite a few Texans down here buying guns and ammo now after the election as either way bad change is coming for freedoms.
Gun Shows are packed every single weekend when they come through.
and I sure would love to see the statistics since the election for purchases and ammo purchases. I'm betting in states like Texas they are at an all time high.

I am pro-2nd amendment. I am NOT pro NRA.

I've given several pro-gun arguments in the pasts few pages that avoid sensationalism. They have been largely ignored.

Nobody understands the definition of option do they? Letting people defend themselves is a great thing. Even if 99% of teachers never carried, there would at least be some sort of doubt in a madman's head. That's the point of a concealed weapon.

I agree that letting people defend themselves is an awesome thing, and while personally not a huge fan of guns I do think people should have the right to have them.
I do however take issue with the idea that somehow there would be any sort of doubt in the "madman's head". That would require him/her to be thinking logicly, which isn't happening as proven by "madman" shooting up places. The point of a concealed weapon is to carry a gun without bring attention to it. If that's to stop people from staring, starting arguments on if the person can have a gun, or just because the gun clashes with the rest of the outfit it. It's not to cause any reaction in someone else.
