SP33Demon - I know it'll be hard. I'd never been engaged before and I'm sad that it failed. It's both hard and nice that we still care for each other. Like for instance, he just got home and sat on the couch and rubbed my legs for me. He knows that since I have fibromyalgia, I hurt all the time.

Happiness will come again. I don't know how long it'll be until I'm ready for a relationship. We'll see. And...Thank you.

Yep, it's a hard thing to do, but you can rest assured that it WILL pass.

Sorry to hear you are hurting.

But from what I have read of you, you will be just fine. Mourning the loss of an ended relationship the same as mouring all other losses. Don't deny yourself... cry, hurt, get thru it and then realize that your best is yet to come.

Loving someone that you cannot be with... been there, done that and have lived to write about it. And if it were not for that painful experience, i would never have been ready for what I have now... if that makes sense. Good can come from it.

You will be just fine...
