No offense meant, but it seems that when someone loses a bunch of weight and starts to look good, or they get a high-paying job, or anything else that can move them up a notch on the ladder, they ditch the person that they were with.

I'm not trying to make a joke out of her dilemma, but I am curious.

Imagine that you see a fat guy and a fat girl together. One of them loses weight, and then take off from the relationship because they're now too good looking to stay with the other person. Same goes with money- someone hits the lottery and BAM!- lose the spouse.

He isn't a new guy. He's the brother of the friend I'm staying with. I've known him, her, and their family for over 18 years. I'd go to church with the family I'm staying, but they go to a different, more traditional one. (like, no live music, no hand-clapping, etc.... Not that there's anything wrong with that...I'm just used to something different.) So, I go to church with her brothers and their parents. Her other brother is 15, I believe. The guy in the pic is just a friend. I'd had a crush on him for several years in the past, but there's nothing between us. Besides, getting into a relationship with anyone right now would be a really bad idea.

EDIT:
Our breakup had nothing to do with my weightloss. Tim is a thin guy himself. We had other, totally unrelated issues.
