Does anyone notice that with anything more than 2 blades the blades get clogged easily and hard to remove by just swishing in water? I have to use an old toothbrush like 3 or 4 times to clear the blades while shaving with a Quattro or Mach III. Am I the only one?

Guys, even if you decide to stick with over-priced multi-blade razors, do yourself and your face a favor a use some decent shave cream/soap and a brush. You'll be surprised at the difference!

PS... you can find excellent replacement double-edge razor blades for about 1.5 - 2 cents apiece in 100-pack on Fleabay. If you use 1 blade a week, that's almost 2 years worth of blades for under $20.

Bah, why even buy a Mach 3 Turbo? Just get a Mach 3 and overclock it...

But I don't think I'm ready to pay the prices for the razors on the sites you linked. They must be made from precious metals to command those prices.

its actually quite hard to cut yourself with the mach3. its an incredible shaver. haven't used an electric since it came out years ago...
the quattro is a joke, doesn't get close enough because of the alignment bands.

man up, you buncha nancy boys. this is the best safety razor you can get:
merkur classic
try it, you'll be smooth all day. and blades are about 50 cents each, and last at least two weeks. the only thing better than this is a straight razor.
i use a gillete sensor when travelling, and it's a POS. i can only get one shave out of it before the blade is too dull.

Are there any B&M stores around that carry things like this? Even just the brushes?
