The problem with following along with the ideal of having a very low % of body fat is that for a lot of unlucky women,their breasts are often the first thing to disappear when they start watching what they eat and exercising regularly. If you're on the smallish side to begin with it's rather disheartening.

My wife has them. She had them implanted just before I met her and actually, that's one of the things that attracted me to her. Not that she had implants, but that she had a very nice figure. They are very subtle implants that enhance her bustline rather than make it stand out. She's petit and works out, and although she had a a small but decent bust (I've seen photos of before the implants), she told me she felt a little under-sized. What she had done very nicely augmented her figure without looking like she has implants.

As for me, I have no complaints.

My wife has been entertaining the idea of getting them to correct the sagging from breast feeding our 3 children. A lady that used to work at my company got them about a year ago and she showed me the results and the doc did a fantastic job, the scar was so small it was virtually unnotiable and they looked very natural. As soon as we have some extra cash laying around and if my wife still wants to do it ill pay for it.

Breast implants are silly. I won't date anyone with them because they really say something about their personality. Anyone who would mutilate their body so agressively just for the sake of looking better has some mental issues. Fake boobies also do not look good, especially on a thin person. I have not seen ANY that look OR feel real - even with the newer techniques. Don't kid yourself.

I feel just the same about them as people do about getting hair implants - when you see someone with them you try not to look and then laugh when you get out of view.

Under the muscle implants look very natural,combined with getting a size that's right for your build and the results are stunning.They look far better than saggy,shriveled little flaps of skin many women end up stuck with after breast feeding and/or a heavy exercise program.

The whole point of eating well and exercising is to look better,if it takes surgery to put the icing on the cake why not?

I can pretty much always tell fake ones but it doesn't bother me at all. I can also tell fake teeth. By fake I mean white and well shaped. Real ones look like this. Few would scoff at the idea of braces, so why scoff at breast implants?

Further to geekbabe's comments it's quite unnatural for most adults in our society to have an 8% bodyfat and nice biceps. It requires artificial modification of the body. Though it's not surgical, it still results in an abnormal (albeit unarguably good) appearance.

Generally people are well received when they say that they're going to start excercising, consciously cutting back their calories, and trying to look better in this way, so why not boobs?

Really I have yet to figure out how somebody could be for braces and against breast implants. In fact, considering that braces are generally started on minors and breast implants are not, at least with BIs the person getting them has some say in the matter as a legal adult.
