Musburger said nothing incorrect, and nothing outrageous. They do work. And for the most part there isn't much peer-reviewed, published science on legitimate, long-term steroid risks. A lot of the claims made against steroids have very little science behind them, and/or require stupid levels of abuse to achieve. It's worth discussing...oh wait, Congress already took care of that for us, with grandstanding and yelling "steroids BAD, durr durr durr" and passing ridiculous legislation that classified anabolics as Schedule I.
But yeah, Brent will probably be disciplined by ABC for even suggesting that steroids aren't the devil incarnate.
