has anyone tried haagen dazs creme brulee?
and which of their chocolate is better, the normal one or five? both have the same ingredients lol, but one has more cream than skim milk, and the other vice versa
4 quarts for $10 at my grocery store this week. Picked up a quart after work today to have for dessert tonight.
One particularly nice thing - Breyer's has been immune to the grocery shrink ray - a quart is still a quart. Most of the other brands are making slightly smaller containers these days. Then again, after I have ice cream tonight, it'll probably be freezer burnt by the time I want ice cream again. I generally hate ice cream (years and years of all the ice cream I could ever want for free.)
Bolded is completely untrue. Breyer's "half gallon" is down to, IIRC, 1.5 quarts.
Seeing as I dislike Breyer's I don't have a problem with this. I just want to correct your misinformation and show the world yet another way in which Breyer's sucks.
I must acquire some Friendlys Chocolate ice cream but I dont know who sells it down here. Ill have to call up the restaurant see if they sell tubs,.
ugg... local traders joe's is out of the ultra chocolate
but at $4 for 1 quart, i'm thinking Turkey Hill Dutch chocolate is the better bang for the buck at $2.50 for 1 1/2 quarts (when on sale, which is often at my local supermarket)

From wiki :Please get a clue and shut up, not necessarily in that order. You should not be in such a hurry to prove your ignorance, we'll all figure it out anyway.
From wiki :
Cost Cutting
Although promoting itself as a 'natural ice cream' in the past, like some of their competitors Breyers has recently reformulated many of its flavors with cheaper nontraditional ingredients.
Canada
Breyers is also available in Canada, where the product is sold in 1.89-L (half-US-gallon) containers. Some are marketed as a "frozen dessert" instead of ice cream,[5] since certain products are made with hydrogenated vegetable oils and modified milk ingredients rather than milk.
There is more info on the net about this see chowhound etc.

Wrong again. The container I have at home shows Milk, Cream, Sugar, and a couple of other things. I made sure to check with the other moran posted above.
You can get frozen dessert through them but those are separate products and are marked as such.
