I have been listening to a lot of music today - and some I thought were really just some of the best musical performances that I know of. Sometimes something magical just happens on stage during a song or a collaboration and they just hit it out of the park - and I just thought I would share a few of mine and I'd like to see some of your favorites.

This one hit me hard today - Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac during The Dance in 97 - you have to know the meaning behind the song - Stevie Nicks wrote it about Lindsey Buckingham and the way they look at each other at the end - it's great.

Yep, I've played the shit out of that one. My DVD collection of concerts & music documentaries is about 10:1 when compared to regular movies. Back to that intro, I'm not sure if I dig the Hyde Park one more or not:

The problem with Flea/JAMFF/Ferrell is that they have soooooooo many fucking great jams together it's tough to pick 1. Hell I couldn't even decide on which Slane jam to put on this thread they're all so fucking good.

I love Chad. A drummer myself, he's easily in my top 5. He's just a bad ass dude who loves life, rocks the fuck out, and doesn't care about much else. I remember watching a documentary where Keidis and Flea are shown doing yoga/meditation backstage, and Chad is laying flat on his back with a cigarette in one hand and a Heineken in the other - LOL! No one rocks a jump suit better than that dude does.

That was great! I like most of what they do. And it's always a real treat to see singers perform as well live as they do in the studio.
