I got video in VLC, but it's very choppy and broken up
Plus, my 3000+ at 1.94GHz is at 100% CPU load
I wish this worked off of the video card ... mine could handle it

Yeah, did step 1, got that player, even tried the H.264 decoder off the same site.

Goosemaster, can you PM with instructions on how to turn .TS files into H.264 compatible files? I have a bunch of HD goodies i'd like to share.

And how about the other HD h.264 clips in the folder? I also have a SDTV clip. It's in the vids/h.264 folder.
I encoded the Bikini clip with Moonlight AVC OneClick Compressor. On my 3.4c, I get only 8-9FPS. While with Goose's FF clip, it only played back in Nero Showtime. It played back smoothly, but I'm unsure where to find the option to display framerate. I would estimate at least 15 FPS. So it would appear that Nero's h.264 codec is less CPU intensive than Moonlight's h.264 codec. I wonder how QT7's codec compares. Based on the BBC clip, I would have to say QT7 and about equal to Moonlights codec in the CPU requirements.

Jsut put it in Nero recode, set it to use HDTV - AVC, set the size you want, and glick go.
It's so much easier than the route I took i nthe past

Nero Recode (I have recode version 2) will not accept ts files. How do you normally add them to Nero Recode?
