I've had WoL working before on two other linksys routers,
On one of them all I had to do was do a port forward on a certain port and forward it to 192.168.1.255 and it would broadcast it to all the NICs on the network.
On another router, the firmware had a light javascript protection that prevented me from typing '255' in the port forward box - so I filtered that out and did it anyway -- It worked.
But on the RTP300, after doing the same thing for the javascript, it still doesn't seem to be broadcasting. Like I said, I already know how to set up wake onlan, and after running a few test scenarios, it seems to be a broadcast issue. I can't find any settings on here that are blocking it, maybe you guys know an alternate way, or know a setting that I don't see?
BTW: I'm sending the packet to my router's external IP with a 255.255.255.255 subnet mask on a certain port that I have forwarded (theoretically, it should be forwarded) to my whole internal subnet.
Thanks
