Your going to have to explain to me how he is right when the roadmaps says he isn't

The Valleyview slide states on it, Q4'13 for release. Given that Medfield was announced as done on stage in January this year, and phones containing it only started shipping 4 months later, I'm not optimistic Valleyview will be in any phones until early 2014.

Valleyview looks like its going to be a good chip, its just a case of getting it shipped in time. Apple's A6 has already beaten the 1.6GHz version of Medfield, although the 2GHz version in the Razr i may retake that crown- I've yet to see any benchmarks. But there's a lot of new ARM chips coming in the next year, like the Tegra 4, and Intel are going to be left behind pretty quick if they don't pick up the pace.

That doesn't mean He can make crap up no were does it say in any Chart that The next atom OoO will be out in 2014 .

The chart says that Valleyview will be ready for purchase requests Q4'13. Meaning that no phones with it in will be completed and on shelves before 2014.

The road maps you guys went and got . Medfield was released along time ago and yet its brother for tablets is not yet released. Does than mean Medifield isn't in phones right now today. You guys are looking at the complete total release . I am looking at just the smart phone 22nm SoC

This slide indicates that they're aiming for a roughly simultaneous launch on the next-gen parts. (Although we shouldn't read too much into rough alignment of a bunch of rectangles with rounded corners.)

The question is rather what Skylake will bring on 14nm. I think the PCH will dissapear. But for Broadwell it will be identical to Haswell on that area.

Why don't you think the PCH will disappear until Skylake? Can't that be done already on Broadwell?

I know Broadwell will be a Tick, implying node shrink and not CPU arch change. But that has not been so black and white on later Intel CPU generations.

GPU wise Broadwell will have gen8 GPU uarch, Haswell will have 7+. I assume you think they will have the same. Haswell GPU is based an improvement/expand of Ivy.

I already knew that since you've mentioned it in a previous post in another thread.

But anyway, what impact does that have on the improvement options I suggested for Broadwell?

Because Broadwell is still LGA1150. Ultrabooks will be MCM like Haswell with the same socket too.

You do know This isn't a normal release right. Which Haswell chip you talking about..

Haswell is 4-5-6 diffferant dies. The Die that gets to 8 watts isn't the same as the rest at all. We seen that chip in action at fall IDF 2012
