Broke my arm on Thursday

Took a spill on a wet piece of concrete the other night and broke my humorous clean in half

chance it might need surgery

luckily it is my right arm and I'm a lefty.

I go back to ther doctor on thursday. I'll find out then if it will heal on it's own or not.

I broke my right wrist back when i was a kid in 3rd grade (that was a looong time ago - I'm old ) Both the ulna and radius were snapped clean in two - so I understand your pain I had to learn to do schoolwork left-handed for a few months! Hope it heals up quick (and with no surgery!)

I was at a restaraunt/bar with my fiancee and another girl from work.
I was taking the girls coat out to the car and since it was raining I ran back
jumped over a puddle and didn't quite stick the landing. Luckily I got a few beers in first!

ha ha that's funny...seriously I have broken both my radii, once when I was 14 and then when I was 30.

When I broke my left arm just 2 years ago everyone would say at least it's your left arm, but I am left handed too.

that sucks. Never broke an arm, though I did hyper extend my elbow enough where the back of my wrist was in my arm pit. It looked so cool. Didn't even go to the hospital. Arm works fine, the tendons grew back longer or something because that joint bends further than my right one...

UPDATE -- went to the doctor today and he said everything is in the "optimal" position, so as of right now, no surgery.
If everything stays this way I should be ok in 6 weeks or so, I'm going back to work on monday.

Thanks, I could have gone on disability if i wanted to but i'm the IT guy and my office falls apart without me. I got 15 calls from the office yesterday. It's less stressfull just to go in.

I actually didn't hear anything, just tried to get up and my arm wouldn't move.
