I broke the "clip" (the part you can press down with a screwdriver) when trying to take it off today. Now, I have another heatsink, but it is smaller (my current one is for current AMD chips, can't remember what that one was for), but I took out the whole "clip thing" and it was just slightly shorter in length. I'm wondering if it will be okay to use this? I realize this is an odd question to answer, but in general, should it work, or do heatsinks require to much precision in how much they are clipped on and pressed down?
