If it happens no matter what site you go to, then in IE go to Tools->Internet Option->Advanced tab and scroll down to Multimedia. Check the box that says "Show pictures" and then click the OK button.
If this only happens at that one URL, then these are "broken links" meaning that the page code is pointing incorrectly to the images' locations.
