Speaking of BSOD's, I have an Abit IC7-MAX3 board with a Danger Den chipset water cooling block (yes, it has water running through it). One day I'm at the MS update site doing some security fixes and out of the blue (no pun intended) BSOD! I tried to re-boot and zilch. Since I now have more money than time, I took my rig to Fry's Electronics to have them see what was wrong (paid $70.00). Seems the MOBO ate itself. The four wire hoops soldered to the mobo that the chipset fan heatsink uses for sucuring, one had come out and caused my water block to tilt ever so slightly. Just enough for it to over heat. What a real bummer. Not only was I out the $70.00 , but now I needed to buy a new mobo. I got another IC7-MAX3 and now about every other day I'm down on my knees with a flashlight checking the wire hoops. I have read many threads on this problem. My BSOD was the real KOD (kiss of death)! I hope your BSOD day's are gone for a while.
