BSOD on New Build

I've tried AHCI, IDE and "Disabled" from the BIOS but no luck. I've tried installing on the F3 drive instead of the M4 (completely unplugged the M4) and still BSOD. I'm using an ISO that is Windows 7 Professional from MSDN program that was "en_windows_7_with_sp1_debug_checked_build_x64_dvd_619601"...maybe it's problem with the iso?

Next step is to try and get a new Windows 7 disc, and then check each stick, but one round through MemTest said it was good.... I dunno.

Like i always say.did you doubles check all connection to make sure.is your cpu sitting properly.this is a hardware issue.try annother HDD.try booting with only one stick of ram.

At what stage of the installation or boot process does this BSOD pop up?

It occurs after the Windows Is Loading files window, and right during the Windows Screen. I posted a link to a youtube video of it happening. It's right at the end of the video. Thanks!

@denis - I checked the RAM and tried with two different hard drives (one SSD, one F3 1TB drive). I really didn't think about re-seating the CPU since it fit so perfectly and I closed the latch no problem, but I suppose it's possible.

Found this thread on the Windows 7 forum -- sounds like the exact same thing, but I'd still take suggestions before I go offsite to work on this. Thanks again, folks.

I did want to mention your ram's not on the qvl. That may play a part. do a minimal install with one stick of ram and the m4 without the other HDD attached. Also, one round of testing with memtest is not enough. Run the test for at least several hours.

were you booting from the CD when it BSOD?

I'm fairly certain it's the ram.

I'd download memtest, let it run overnight, and wake up to find out which stick(s) is failing.

You guys are part of why this forum is so darn useful. Thank you for your input. I just got back from the office (where the new build is at) with a new Windows 7 Pro DVD (still from MSDN, but not the debugged/checked version) and the install went fine and dandy, no problems.

Hopefully this helps someone else who makes the same mistake as me. Thanks again for your input, though, everyone.
