You might consider complaining to Steinberg, as it's likely you aren't the only one having this problem. Rolling back drivers is _really_ bad practice for an application to do. If they question you, simply send them the dumpfiles. Their engineering staff will know what to do with them, and it will immediately be clear to them what the problem is.
