BTX cases fit ATX mobo?

Was wondering, do all ATX mobos fit into BTX cases? or any at all?

Just did some thinking and looked at some BTX only cases.. realize now this is a stupid question. Seems the answer is no... damn

Using Newegg's search engine you will find cases that accept both ATX and BTX format.

My hope is that case suppliers will offer slide-out replacement trays in BTX format for future up-grade.

Some of the Aerocool models start as an ATX and you can get a kit to convert to BTX. The Masstige is one of them and the Aeroengine I think.

last time i thought about BTX was a year ago. Are there fine cases out there now, or will it take another year. Iam not angry that btx is coming slow since iam satisified with atx cases.

BTX in my opinion is a dead horse.
It was another grand scheme by Intel that AMD and others refused to accept!!
Thus its dead!!

Intel started pushing the BTX idea when they were still hoping to get better results from Prescotts in the 4 GHz-upward range, where the cpu's are power-hungry and just plain red-hot with waste heat. AMD's A64's run so much cooler than the Prescotts that it'd be silly for AMD to suggest to its supporters that anything similar to BTX was needed.

Very few of the high-volume case manufacturers ever offered much in BTX, and the few that had anything, were starting with an ATX as base, and offering a way to mount a different tray for opposite-side access, at extra cost.

BTX is dead.
There was a small statement in the latest issue of Maximum PC from an Intel representitive stating it was all but dead..

Actually the only reason I want a BTX case is that it opens up on the right hand side, which is pefect for my desk arrangment. It's hard to find cases that open up on the right hand side for ATX.
