Hi,
I'm looking for a budget ips monitor. First of all, I can't really decide whether to get 1080p or 1440p for gaming because of doubts if 1440p is really worth it. I play mostly mmorpg / racing / open world games so I can understand a high refresh rate is not all that important but what is concerning me is the resolution.
1) For GAMING overall, is it really a noticable difference going from 1080p (24inch) to 1440p (25inch). 25inch 1440p has a very high ppi quality, and I don't really plan gaming on a 27" (so qnix is out)
2) So what's a good ips budget monitor. My budget is around $250 USD ($330 CAD). Some I've on mind are :-
a) Acer G257hu 1440p --- $350 CAD

b) Asus VS24ah-p 1920 x 1200 --- $280 CAD

c) Really been considering LG too. Look very nice. LG 24mp57-p 1080p --- $220 CAD

And 24MC57HQ-P 1080p
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...25100&cm_re=24mc57hq-p-_-24-025-100-_-Product
The more bucks I could save the better, since I'm already on a really tight budget for my proposed build here :-

Please Advice. Thanks (Note : My gfx card will be a GTX 970, so performance is not a problem)
