I'd give cricket a look. They pair up family plans for cheap. Your wife's G2 will work there. You can get a Lumia 635 for $30 for the au paire. It's a cheap, durable and functional phone. Then you can move anything GSM unlocked over there for you.

TMobile has a great Family plan promo right now, I switched back to them.

Am giving it to my mother, she's developing dementia, going to use Cerebrus app to track her, give her as much freedom as possible, and still ensure her safety.

I'm leery of the "Prepaid prices include taxes & fees" language; anyone can confirm that on their Cricket bill that the quotes are "all-in" costs? I remember with Republic Wireless that there were still additional taxes and whatnot even though it was supposedly a "pre-paid" system.

Speaking from personal experience, I have the 20GB for $55 and my wife has 5GB for $45 plan, they're both all inclusive. No extra fees, taxes, weird surcharges, regulatory whatever, etc. Speeds are fast, LTE, incredible value but absolutely horrific customer service. Fortunately service just works and we rarely ever have to contact support.

Cricket is owned by AT&T, it's their pre-paid brand.

Yeah, 4 and 5 lines are the same price, both $100. They have an escalating discount on the group plan where #4 is only $10 after the discount and the #5 is free if you want it.

It is better to stick on the ones you are used to than to try the new one and adjust again for a long period of time because you don't know how to use it.
