1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Playing Starwars The Old Republic
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
400-600 USD
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Newegg USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
None
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Re-using case (med tower), dvd-rom, harddrive (win 7 installed), 4 gigs of DDR-800 Ram, 450 W PSU, 1920 x 1080 Monitor
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
No.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
No.
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
1920 x 1080
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Next week or two.
10. Don't ask for a build configuration critique or rating if you are thin skinned.
I'm not thin Skinned.

I am thinking the only parts that need upgrades is the CPU, mobo, and GPU. If I am correct, the ram, and PSU should be ok?
We are leaning on the GeForce 550TI GPU. Do you think this would be good enough to play SWTOR on high settings?
If we were to go with that, which CPU and MOBO combo do you think would be good? I was thinking an i3 would be fine, but I have no idea which motherboard would be good.
If you don't think the 550TI is a good choice, what would you pick?
I appreciate any help!
