Partly. Upon further inspection, it does have a full 4MB of flash, which contradicts a post in the DD-WRT forums. However, I stand my original assessment that the stock firmware has advantages to the latest released version of DD-WRT, like support for a wireless repeating mode. To get that same functionality in DD-WRT, you would have to use a beta version.

It's back on sale for $29.99 AR. You can't get it online, it has to be an in store purchase to get the rebate...at least when I'm typing this as of this moment.

There's a double rebate $10 from manufacturer and $10 from CC.

I just picked one up but I can't get the firmware tomato to upload. I've rest the router and I've got a static ip on my laptop to connect up to it. I've never had this much trouble with a linksys. I'm using the tftp 1.255 to upload the file. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: I figured it out. I was suppose to start the upgrade then hit restart in the GUI . It's been while since I did a reflash of any routers after bricking my old belking 54g router.

Are you using a wireless or wired (ethernet cable;cat5/5e) connection to upload the firmware? I believe you need to use a wired connection for the upload to successfully work.

Great router by the way. I put Tomato on it and it is stable and just works. Runs a public hotspot and uptime is 1000% better than the old Linksys BEFSW11 that it replaced. IF it it is still available for that price it is a steal.
