Build a new computer, choosing a P35 motherboard

I am planning to build a new computer this winter break. I want to be able to overclock the most I can from the e6750 chip I am going to purchase. I am going to use:

Processor:
E6750 2.6
Ram:
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066

So then I wanted to know what would be the best processor to get. I was looking at the anandtech forums and found that these two have excellent reviews, but which was is the better on?

ASUS P5K Deluxe/WIFI-AP
or
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS4 (rev. 2.0)
These are from the two motherboards I am looking at. Which do you think are better? Which are worse. I am leaning more towards the Gigabyte because it is cheaper, and seems to have not as many problems then the Asus one. What do you think?

DS4 is fine - in fact the DS3P is basically the same board with different cooling if you want to save a few more $$.

Asus P5K-E wi-fi. Cheaper and does the same job.

I'd go with the DS4 (Ver 2.0) out of those 2 choices you had.

1st choice) ASUS P5K-E or
2nd choice) ABIT IP34-E.

Save your money either of those will do ANYTHING you need in terms of
overclock with your CPU. Obviously make sure they have the right
peripherals you want in terms of number / type of slots, USB, firewire, LAN, etc. though.

You do NOT need DDR2-1066 (PC2-8500) RAM; DDR2-1000 (PC2-8000) will OC
the CPU to the max. PC2-8000 is stock 500 MHz memory, and your CPU has an
x8 max multiplier.

500x8 = 4000 Mhz, and I doubt it's possible to OC that CPU past 4GHz unless you're
super lucky with the CPU being cherry, AND use expensive water-cooling for it.

So if you get a great deal on 1066 memory fine, but if 1000 memory is cheaper,
I'd get that.

hi, I just order the Gigabyte P35 DS4, my friend recommended me that board as he gets crazy stable overlocks on his Q6600 G0. Very good build quality also, Gigabytes always use high end parts.
