Likewise on my pick of the G.Skill, I just habitually select 1.5V and lower, nowadays, when filtering RAM.The only reason I picked the Team RAM was that it was among the cheapest 2x4 kits of DDR3 of at least 1600mhz that I could find from newegg on a quick notice.
The FX-6300 would run cooler (specifically, it will output less heat), putting less stress on the voltage regulation, power supply, etc.. It might also OC a little bit higher, getting it closer to i5 territory. Plus, it wouldn't cost as much as an i5.For your uses, you would not notice any difference between systems using and OC'd FX-8350 versus OC'd FX-6300.
I did. It's available for $85 from some place I've never ordered from before, but I'd swear it was <$90 at one of Amazon, TD, or NE, when I was composing the post (it's not right now), and the 256GB version was definitely either $155 or $156. If he got it for $90, it's a nice little SSD. OTOH, and FX-6300 and 240GB M500 for $150 would have been better in the long run, and cost less today. Also, what other guy? The only people who have mentioned Sandisk in this thread are you and me.
Surely it's legal?
Not on this site, where they place corporate Eulas above the actual law.
Edit: The issue, I guess, is the existance of an NV document forbidding the separate sale of the game codes. Most people believe that applies only to the vendors, as the first sale doctrine says that basically, once they sell it on the open market, they lose the right to control it.
Some, however, have taken the document to be all-encompassing, and ignoring the law, and instead believing that selling pack-in game codes is actually illegal.
Wrong. If you had understood what I said earlier, you'd know that RAM speed is not relevant for real world usage, and that timings are less relevant than MHz. The Team RAM would've been both faster and cheaper. The only reason I picked the Team RAM was that it was among the cheapest 2x4 kits of DDR3 of at least 1600mhz that I could find from newegg on a quick notice. I just got lucky that it was 2400 MHz.
Generally, no, hence, "it's rarely good in terms of GB/$." It's worth the lower cost to get a current-gen non-Sandforce SSD from a major memory/storage company.is it worth the cost of that corsair neutron?
what about a aftermarket thermal paste? should i buy one and how shold i apply it?
But I'm failing to understand why we are even discussing that. Buy the Crucial M500 120GB.
Thermalright True Spirit 140 is bundled with Thermalright Chill Factor 3, it's very good, use it. There are many ways to apply it, but mostly it's not that important how you do it as long as you don't use too much of it. A small blob in the center, then apply pressure on the cooler and gently tilt it side to side to spread it evenly, that's how I do it.
do you know how to post pictures?
MBAM is good. Is it worth it for you?
I think it's good you didn't waste our time any longer. I guess I should say I hope you'll like it, but... really? 8350, Sandisk SSD, 990Fx board, 270X, Apotop RAM? It's like talking to a brick wall.
It's basically paying money to take a chance that it might block something that you installed. Instead, you can watch what you're installing, your email attachments, etc., and never get it in the first place. Don't click next without looking at what you're clicking next for.why is that?
This thread in a nutshell. OP, its your money at the end of the day. However, you must see that constantly second-guessing and ignoring advice without presenting good reasoning makes it frustrating for people who are trying to help you?

Don't install multiple antiviruses. If you don't know enough to always second guess a link, then you probably don't know how to disable automatic scans, and with multiple antiviruses, your computer is just going to slow to a halt.
On a sidenote, people coming here with sacred cows is a combination of frustrating and amusing.
