Hey guys,

This is what I'm looking at getting now. I have around $1100 to spend.

CPU - E6750
Mobo - P5K Deluxe WiFi-AP
Memory - OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB)
Hard Drive - Seagate 7200.10 500GB SATA
Video Card - EVGA 8800GTS 320MB
DVD Drive - ASUS SATA 18x DVD
Case - Antec P182
PSU - Corsair 520W
Heatsink - Thermalright Ultra120 eXtreme
Fans - Yate Loons or Noctua, not sure yet.

If you would, please look over my build and help me out a bit. I'm still wondering what HDD to get and what Motherboard to get. I will probably just be mildly overclocking it, so I'm not sure if the ASUS mobo is essential. Should I get a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R instead?

As for the HDD, is the WD5000AAKS better? Also, when is the 7200.11 due out? I read that it was supposed to be released at the end of this month.

I've already bought the memory, PSU, and the case because they all had really good deals on them.

Ok, I decided to go with the Gigabyte motherboard. I never realized it was $100 cheaper than the ASUS.

I guess the only thing now is which hard drive to get?

i would stick with the 7200.10

ditch that ram, get crucial ballistix or something along those lines....

i believe the ocz platinum rev2 uses promos

yea i have a question, im building a rig thats about 1,100, i have the 8800GTS but how did you manage to get an E6750, P5K Deluxe, 500GB HDD and Antec P182 case into 1,100, im getting an E6550, Cooler master Centurion 5, 250GB, and a Gigabyte GA-P35 and are just on 1,100, are u buying from newegg?

I've been buying the parts for it over a while, and snagging up parts that had good deals on them. I got the case for $50, the memory (I bought it because it was cheap) for $62, PSU for $70.

That's over $100 I've saved there.
