Hey guys, never done this before so I figured I would give it a shot. I started water cooling and got hooked. But was already at the limit of my case. Didn't want an even bigger case cause it was already massive enough and taking up a lot of desk space (I don't like my PC's on the floor).

So I sold the case and ran open air for awhile.

But for the longest time I wanted to make a desk case after seen so many wonderful ones here and around the internet. But the main thing was I wanted to make as many of the wires and hoses off the floor as possible. So here we go.

I will just post what I have so far:

Without the glass top:

Yeah it looks messy, but again I had to get it up and running simply but I plan on finishing barring time and money it will be themed and most of the stuff will be hidden. But it serves it's main purpose to get everything off the floor and off my desk.

Started out by building an aluminum ladder frame:

One thing I really wanted like I said was to integrate the powerstrip into the case found this awesome one that was thin very heavy duty feeling, had a unique plugs in the front and back and quite affordable. It allowed me to hook up a bunch of stuff on the inside of the case and other stuff like computers I'm working on others and other random stuff on the bottom (outside) of the case.

Next I had to attach it to the existing desk frame the black liner is sound proofing and to absorb the vibrations from the HDD's and water pumps:

Some test fitting:

Framing one of the Rad's to attach the legs of the desk. I also cut out strips of the noise dampening material to sandwich between the rad and the fans to hopefully reduce noise and vibrations.

That's what I got so far. Love to hear your guys feedback/suggestions since I'm still quite n00b at this. I got the HDD cages with fans in last week just haven't had time to get them in.
