Cool info people. A couple things:
I was dual booting with my current system you see in my sig but it was a headache trying to get 98 to be nice with all the gizmos I have installed like my Leadtek TV card and such. I'm not a Win98-head so it was miserable for me. I kept getting hardware problems that could be fixed when I finally found how to install the drivers right, but then it would just cause other problems. I gave up on that idea and decided to go dedicated with a KVM switch.
As far as video cards, 32 megs isn't enough for 98 games (at least not on the card I had originally). While I was waiting for my 9800 pro to arrive I used a 7500 32mb card that was being bogged down by Dungeon Keeper 2. I had to dumb down the graphics for it, so I don't want to make that mistake.
And you don't think that dual channel will make a difference? It may not be needed to play them, but it certainly will make it faster, won't it? The price would be the same either way I go, so why not
