Hi all,
This really isn't my first post I just cannot access my old account for some reason, says the password is wrong and I cannot find the email I used. My username is actually SLK.
On to the subject..
I just purchased everything for my new system build, and surprisingly, I was an AMD guy for years. Since the B3 stepping was released on the Intel Chipsets, I decided to go Intel this time!
I am concerned though because I think I seriously messed up on the Power Supply and I would like your thoughts.
Here are the specs:
Intel Core i5-2500K
CORSAIR XMS 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
ASUS ENGTS450 DC OC/DI/1GD5 GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit
Seagate ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
LITE-ON Black 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW SATA
Antec Six Hundred Black Computer Case
MSI P67A-C43 (B3)
Antec NEO ECO 400C 400W Continuous Power ATX12V
I plan to overclock to about 4ghz, maybe a little more depending what I can get at stock or just a little more voltage. I will be keeping this setup for the next 3 years and do not plan to upgrade. If I do, I would replace the power supply. Will this be sufficient?
Thanks
Rob
