I've never done this before... But this is what I have so far...
Case (No PSU)
PSU
Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1GB Ram Kingston
Geforce 6800
Samsung Monitor
Seagate 200GB SATA HD
Keyboard
Mouse
Logitech Speaker System
Floppy Drive

Note* Already have a Plextor DVD Burner

Please if you could check out my system so far, rate it... provide recommendations, and helped me with my missing parts... I'd be very grateful...

Thanks

OK, This is my updated config... With this Mobo does it have built-in sound and ethernet connection as you said? And is there anything I'm missing or could be better?

19 inch dp 930 sb. Truly flat mitsubishi diamondtron. Supports 1200 X 1600 @ 85 hertz. You can pick it up at http://www.nm-select.com for around 199 bucks It's refurbished but it comes with a good warranty. I just got one and it looks brand new. I've only had it connected for a day but from what I've seen of it I absolutely love it.

are you going to OC? you dont needa be a super expert to do it, and since u want it for "gaming to the fullest" theres a bunch of winchester thats easily make it worth the bang for buck

I also would go with a 19-inch CRT/17-inch LCD of some sort. 17 CRT inches/15 LCD inches are more constraining than you'd think. NEC Diamondtrons are supposed to be among the best, though my Samsung 997DF has given me no problems.

DON'T BUY DELL!!!..
first of all your ram, you should get 2x512 Corsair TwinX XLPT Latency: 2. 2. 2. 5.
sec. your CPU get the 3500+ instead of the 3200+, it's much easier to OC
Third your mobo i would suggest that you get the A8N-SLI(if you can afford it, buy the DELUXE edition)
the reason you should buy SLI version, is that you can extend your GFX with another GFX card.

I'm not aware of your economical situation right know, but if you can afford these changes i have suggestet, your machine would be LOADED!! but that's up to you..

my regards
Philip

I don't plan on OC considering I've never done it b4 and i Don't wanna risk anything.
I don't think I can afford those changes as the $ is already up to 1300.00

I am trying to make sure I have every piece before I buy this, sp if I bought everything on the list, could I build my computer?

Thanks again

One more thing(s)

Unless you have a cracked Windows version, you should budget your operating system. If using Windows, get XP Pro. You can get good deals in University bookstores (educational release). If you don't like spending half the friggin day re-installing/updating Windows, get imaging software too. I recommend Acronis True Image.

Or, use Linux.

Don't worry with SLI. Unless you plan on having dual 6800 GTs or Ultras, SLI is a waste.

200w would be enough.
It's about quality, not quantity.
The Antec TruePower series isn't the best, but very nice nonetheless, and a good deal w/ the Sonata.
