Building a Server Need some Advice?

I have the following options that I see in my price range give or take a little.

Option 1:
P4 1.8A Northwood
I845 Chipset Intel Board

Option 2:
2x866 P3 FCPGA
Tyan ServerworksLE Board

Option 3:
XP2100+ Athlon XP
Still looking for a good solid board.

Option 4:
2 x 1.2 Athlon MP
Tyan Tiger Dual Board (Not MPX)

Option 5:
1.26 P3 512K FCPGA2
Good i815 board

I will be putting at least 512 MB Ram in whatever I choose, it will be used for a lot of diffrent things, but mostly as a game server for lan partys for a large number of people, or multiple game servers for fewer ppl.

Id say option 2. It will be cool, quiet, reliable and as long as you have enough RAM (256MB or more) more than fast enough for simple games servers.

I personally like option #4. Save a few bux and use XP's instead of MP's though. I have a Tiger MP with two 1600+ XP's and a gig of RAM....it is one fine machine. Would be more than enough server for you and won't be outdated any time soon. Mine handles any lan party I throw at it and then some.
