Halloween orange it is!
Wow, I am your fan!
Maybe just float some net-pens in that lake close by shore and raise baby trout fry in them (ca$h crop), completely avoiding costs of pipelines, pumps, electricity, cementing-in pools on your land, etc.
Right here in my home area there was a "mariculture" company that profited doing exactly that, ... they grew stuff in pens floating in the ocean outside the surf line offshore Hendry's Beach.
Piping cost=$0.
Electricity cost=$0.
Cost for circulating pumps=$0.
Maintenance cost =near $0.
Public image = HIGH because it LOOKS green, so everybody loves you.
Maybe some future day some bozo bureaucrat in your county will ask you to pay for a permit to do that, or maybe they'll continue bovinely chewing their cud. Just stay out of boating areas and they may never even know.
All you gotta do is boat out there and toss some feed into the floating net-pens suspended in the ocean, with sides held afloat by some "pool noodles." That's easy as pie.
Easily scoop out your harvest with a pole-mounted net and sell into the ravenous Japanese market, black hole of insatiable demand (I used to sell them custom surfboards by the hundreds, other guys here still sell them roe/caviar and it's WORTH their TIME, big time. B I G T I M E. They go diving 3 days a week and earn more than almost ALL the Wall Street Gordon Geckos, rest of time eat sleep party with the surpassingly bodacious college babes.
You might earn $ that way too? Float some pens on that lake, send your wife out there daily to toss some trout fry in there (she's worth more than $0.01), and spend 2 hours studying up on what to do next. Keep an eye on it from your spectacular picture window!
(Obviously, I'm just playing around here.)
