What was the total cost, if you don't mind?

From what I've ordered so far, including shipping - it was just shy of $800. When I order the other half it'll put me in the $1400-1500 range, so I'm stretching my budget a bit on this one, but its worth it IMO.

Only piece I'm unsure about at this point is the SSD, having a hard time choosing - otherwise just waiting on certain parts to be in stock again on newegg.

Was looking over the Mardi Gras savings ad from newegg. and the Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB was in there, it looks like a good deal, but is it? Havn't been in the market that long for an SSD.

May drop down, and go with the Antec TruePower New TP-650 then, looks like a solid PSU.

My preference would be for a Sandforce drive like the Corsair Force 120GB. Faster were it counts (random writes) and available for $220-230 all day long. Just stay away from the OCZ drives, they've been having serious quality-control issues recently.

This thread is helpful as I'm in almost exactly the same spot, same needs. So my question is, what are we looking at in terms of a motherboard? Any educated guesses or ideas when they will be available and which specific board(s) would be good choices for the SB chips?

P67 and H67 motherboard are available right now on Newegg. Selection is rather limited at the moment though.

Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" 120GB

I feel good with all my choices, I was gonna add a separate cooler for the 570 but decided against it for now. Thanks everyone who helped me out, learned a bunch as well!

You paid about $50 too much for the GTX 570, but otherwise you're looking good!
