Building My First PC

Hey, trying to build my first PC. I want to make sure that I put together a list of parts that will work together correctly. I'm not gonna lie i read to FAQ's on how to build a computer and am now before you a novice. I plead for your help and consideration.
My most demanding programs will probably be Autocad Civil3D 2007 and Final Fantasy XI online. And maybe COD4 with all the settings turned down XD.

If your wondering the total on this machine only comes out to be 444.93 so it is a bit thrifty but as far as i can tell this is what i need.

I personally dont see any issues other than the AMD cpu and the power supply. AMD used to be the best out there, but recently intel has been stomping them all over the place. The best performance for your money is going to be a C2D but if you want AMD go for it.

I would also dump the no name power supply for an antec or enermax

Its a nice basic machine. do you have a OS? i would wait a few days for better deals. i saw an 8800gs and cod4 for like $80 2 weeks ago.

Yeah for my OS i will be going with windows XP.

The case looks like a cheap piece of junk. I'd go with the CoolerMaster Centurion for $49 shipped if newegg still has free shipping. Otherwise microcenter has is for $49 if you're lucky to have one close by.

I'd recommend spending the money to get a nice case. In the end that's the only thing you're really going to keep using after you upgrade.
