Building new computer, looking for new AV software and firewall

I'm going to be building a new computer in October for my birthday and I'm looking for new antiviral software. My old computer has Norton AV and internet security, which i will be very happy to get rid of. I think I'll go with Kaspersky for the AV part on my new computer but i have a question. Does the windows vista firewall work well? or should i buy the Kaspersky internet security as well when i get Kaspersky AV?

I suggest trying Kaspersky Internet Security

I beg to differ, AntiVir Classic Edition is the best of the free ones, IMO. It is currently using only ~12mb of memory on my notebook, there is no popup anymore, and its detection rate beats AVG Free Edition, aVast, NOD32, and sometimes even Kaspersky.
