Hey Guys,
I recently started buying the parts to build my own computer for the first time. I have been using a T2825 Emachines computer, I know, I know (NOW). My question is:
Some time ago I bought a stick of RAM that I originally planned on adding to my Emachine. I now want to temporarily put this into my new computer. It is a 1GB stick of PC2100, very generic. I have tried to find any kind of compatability lists on the internet and have not had any luck. I am wondering if it will work with my A7V8X-X motherboard. I plan on upgrading to the PC2700 fairly soon but I would like to use this for now if I can. I dont want to upgrade to the 3200 because my motherboard will only recognize 2 sticks for that speed.
Can any of you tell me from experience or a good hunch whether or not you think that will work? Thanks!
