Building new system --N00b questions

Here's what I'm planning:

CoolerMaster CMStacker Case w/ side window
AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2600+
DFI LanParty NFII Ultra B
1GB (2x512) PC3200 Dual Channel (not sure about brand yet, any suggestions?)
WD 74GB SATA 10K Raptor HDD (add another drive later?)
1.44" FDD
NEC 3500A 16X DVDRW (add another drive later?)

I was thinking about getting an ATI RADEON 9800 PRO, but is it overkill for this kind of setup? Should I downgrade my video card or upgrade my CPU?

Is getting the ANTEC NEOPOWER 480W overkill too? I like the idea of less cables, but do I need this much power? I'll be slightly oc'ing, but not to an extreme. I'll probably shoot for a little over 2.2 Ghz.

Any comments about my setup is appreciated. Remember, i'm a n00b builder so go easy on me. =)

As far as games go, the video card will be a bottleneck far before the processor, so i would say keep the proc and invest in the video card. If you arent concerned about price so much, by all means go for the neopower. You basically pay for what you get as far as a psu. If youre just concerned about the cableing, there are alternatives to the neopower as well... here and here.

The video is perfect for that cpu. The psu might be a bit much, but psu's outlast systems, and later a Athlon64/6800GT setup would work fine with that psu.

the PSU is overkill, get the Thermaltake purepower from newegg for $50ish

i recommend the BFG 6800 OC, faster than a 9800 pro and only $250 @ outpost.com

Wow... I wasn't aware it had dropped much below $300 yet... that's very tempting...

Might be your personal preference, but dont get the CM Stacker, if you want a large case look around chieftec, antec, and chenming.

Why do you say that? Is there something wrong with it? I'm not looking for a large case necessarily, just something that has features and looks.
