Also i will be buying one of the new ATI video cards when i can get one. That will bump the price right up to my limit which is 2000bucks. I already have a SB in my computer right now along with a cdrw which i will just transfer over.

Any suggestions? Mobo? Memory? Video? CPU? anything at all I will soon by this SOB

my main concern is the Mobo and memory. I am not sure which ones are the best and if the SATA harddrives of the best choice.

it adds up to 1,459 with shipping, but without the video card which is another 300-500 buck thing to buy. I won a X dreamer 2 at a LAN party tournament which is a mid sized case so the end price should almost be exactly 2000.....

ViewSonic P95F+B 19" PerfectFlat CRT Monitor ?RETAIL
Item# N82E16824116232

I must say that this is an amazing monitor for the price! I have the non-black version of it and the image quality is very very nice. The text is also sharp and crisp. There's only one thing though..it's more like an annoyance and that is the two horizontal lines on the monitor about 3-inches from the top and bottom of the monitor. They're like dead pixels or something but they are really not noticable, especially during gaming (only when you're working with a white background like MS Word etc). But really a wonderful monitor.

Post when you're done building your pc and when you hook up the monitor.

get a a 21" NEC monitor with the money u said by buying a 3200+ over a 3400+. and get a 430w antec truepower, its a bit better than the 450w u picked.
and im pretty sure that all aperture grille monitors have those lines. if you dont want the lines u will have to buy a shadow mask crt.

I didn't mean to distract you from buying this monitor, but just wanted you to know what it was gonna be like had you bought it. Anyway, I will say again that there's nothing wrong with this monitor! You won't even notice those lines once you start using it!

But if you're not convinced, a good alternative for the same price range would be the Samsung 957MB 19" CRT. This was my first choice, but after searching for 2 weeks for it in my area, I couldn't find it. So I had to go with the Viewsonic. Hope this helps
