I have these parts:

P180
E6420
965P-DS3 3.3
EVGA 7900GS
2GB Corsair XMS2
HX520 PSU

I installed the cpu, fan, vid card, and ram.
I connected the PSU to the 20pin, 4pin, and the vid card.
The power button lights up blue on the front of the case, but I get nothing at all when I press it. The PSU fan doesn't come on either.

Am I missing something?

Maybe re-check the front panel connectors. Make sure all your required power connectors and connected like the one for the CPU and video card and plug in the fan for the CPU.

Maybe one stick of RAM as well. Try each one seperately to see if one is defective.

Had case power in wrong pins. duh, for some reason I was thinking red from case goes to red on mobo.

OK, It POSTs and gets to 'insert system disk'
However, the cpu fan doesn't work. It's connected to the mobo, and it flinches when I hit power, but doesn't spin.

any ideas on that?



EDIT: Fan is Freezer 7 Pro

Try another connector on motherboard, should work in cpu fan connector slot, but you should have another 3-pin to at least check and see if working.

Could be BIOS setting, you can check when its working.

It works when connected to the SYS_FAN
