Hi I have been out of the market for a pc's for over a year now. I have seriously thought about Dell & Gateway but I am not impressed with the upgrade-ability of them. Plus they are pretty much married to Intel.
I am looking for a very stable platform for win2k or XP Pro. The pc's will be in a buisness environment so no need for gaming video/sound cards (onboard sound would be fine). I am looking at several options ranging from the integrated nForce (any model pref's? MSI vs. ASUS vs. Abit's uATX) to the Epox 8KHAL/8KHA+ & also seriously looking at the ECS K7S5A for the price.
This will probably be for an XP 1600+ with obviously no-OC going on.
Please it doesn't have to be long ... just jot down some recommendations.
Also: Looking at the RADEON LE for the video as it has very sharp 2D with decent 3d when the boss goes home and I want to frag the co-workers. But have heard things about drivers for 2k & XP.. are these fixed?
Budget per PC will be under $750 no matter what. Which leaves $250 for a decent monitor. The more under budget the better!
Thanks for the sug's.
