I have to bulging discs in my lower back didnt know if anybody knew of some exercises or techniques that could help in relieving the pain?
Hang yourself up-side-down with those boots like Brandon had in the movie The Goonies, and then do small range twisting motions to strengthen the small muscles in your back.
If eits comes in here, he'll tell you what's up. If not, you should look for his posts in the two other threads posted by HN. For some exercises, you should probably consult your doctor about seeing a physical therapist. They deal with a lot of back injuries that can be alleviated through exercise. You could also find a good chiropractor in the area.
I have gone to both a physical therapist and a chiropractor. I apologize for not elaborating more. When I do stretch and do the exercises that I was told, it tends to help for a day or two. But, I am beginning to feel that the exercises from the physical therapy and the chiropractor are not enough. Could diet be playing a role? Quality of shoes (support)? Also, my back seems to feel worse after a night of drinking. Could alcohol play a role in my back getting better?
