i saw the trailer and all i have to say is "meh"
it has the same 5 colors as every other UE game
While there will be demos for the console versions of the game, no demo is currently planned for the PC.

It's to encourage piracy so they can then say that the PC is a bad platform.
People Can Fly was bought by Epic. Both People Can Fly and Epic are primarily game developers, so they actually create the game. In this case, the People Can Fly team within Epic is the primary developer, while Epic is providing the game engine and likely internal support when needed, since they created UE3. EA is the publisher, so they fund and market the game, but since it's a lot of their money the two development teams are throwing around, EA still gets final say in some decisions (like not releasing a PC demo).random question: I never understood what all these companys do when releasing a game? What is EA's role? What does EPIC do? What does People Can Fly do?

That may be true, but I imagine the demo was still their choice. I could be wrong of course.Actually EA doesn't necessarily have much control over anything. It's the EA Partners program, not a "proper" publishing deal, so potentially EA just publishes and distributes the game, and not a whole lot else, but obviously it can vary.
Duke didn't have health regeneration, quick time events, and hundreds of scripted events per level though. It may have a similar attitude, but the game play looks foul to me.This game looks like a BLAST...
Are you kidding me? A Duke Nukem, Borderlands love child...PERFECT!
I LOVED Borderlands and Duke!
Come get some!
Isn't MINDLESS SHOOTER kinda redundant?
Aren't MOST shooters MINDLESS?
IMO, shooters are just FUN!
Nukem, Serious Sam, Doom, Quake, All that!
I would argue that the 4 games you listed offer a much more challening experience than modern shooters however, so while they don't require vast battle knowledge and strategy, you need extremely quick reflexes and core shooter skills. Most of the new shooters just require you to take cover for a few seconds any time you get in over your head.Isn't MINDLESS SHOOTER kinda redundant?

That guy has been bugging me for years honestly, he's just getting crazy over used, as he always plays the same character.I just love that the main character is voiced by Steve Blum.
Only the original Painkiller and first expansion were People Can Fly. IE: The good ones.Last few Painkiller titles were junk, this looks like a mediocre FPS masking itself behind a lot of foul language. Think I'll wait for the reviews.
