Think CoD2 will implement the bf2 result?
For those of you not aware, you can no longer shoot while jumping.

Hope not... of course I don't play CoD2 so I don't know how messed up I'd be if that came into effect. I think if they made the guns less accurate (a lot less) when jumping it would have an effect and there'd be less doing it.
Yeah.....I wish they would do that on BF2 still. I get sick and tired of these idiots hopping around when I'm trying to shoot them. If they were any good they would have killed me already rather than running away.Originally posted by: Xyclone

That, and a slowdown when you land, like in Counter-Strike after the 1.4 patch.

I'd be interested in seeing a demonstration of your accuracy at a firing range while carrying an infantry load and constantly jumping. Always wondered why soldiers, policemen, etc aren't trained to jump continuously in firefights since it makes them harder to hit and has no impact on how they shoot.

Including those that whine about bunny-hopping being modified in games?I hate people that whine about games
As in, "If you're that good of a player, you'll learn to succeed without it?"If you're that good of a player you'll learn to counter them.

That you prefer bunny-hopping is fine, realizing of course there are people who don't.

I hate people that whine about games, there's always bugs and unintended side-effects in every game engine. If you're that good of a player you'll learn to counter them. I hate most current FPS games because they're too slow and boring. I love bunny hopping in Q1, Q3, ET, etc because it makes the game faster and more fun.

I know it's a video game, but how many of you have actually tried to run, aim and fire a weapon at the same time (in real life)? When firing in rapid succession from a stance, it's difficult enough to see anything clearly after the first shot because of the recoil, muzzle flash and smoke, nevermind running, jumping and diving. For me at least, I'm pretty much firing blind after the first few rounds.
Brothers in Arms/Operation Flashpoint give a much more accurate representation of what it's really like to fire a weapon. No soldier in real life is going to jump around to avoid fire either - he's going to get his ass down and head for cover.
