I'm looking for some new burning software.
It needs to be able to (at a minimum):
burn CDs/DVDs
Make audio discs
Make video discs
Make data discs
Make photo slideshow discs
burn images
It needs to be easy to use and fairly intuitive for a novice computer user.
Normally I'd just grab Nero, but it's quite the bloatware these days. Not to mention they want $100 for it. For all the options it has, about 90-95% of them would never get used. I had a copy of Nero 7 Essentials, but it is missing features I need, such as make photo sideshows.
Roxio is also out of the question, it was the program that screwed up the computer in question in the first place. It is also major bloatware it seems, with all sorts of photo and other programs bundled with it. It was installed on the computer in the first place (bundled with it) and it got messed up along the way, every time the computer started it would pop up with an installer, even though the program was already installed. That's jut one of several issues it created.
As you've probably guessed, this is not for my own computer or myself.
What are some different options to look at here?
I've been using an older version of Nero for some time for my own computer and haven't had to go looking for anything new.
