I'm actually looking forward to this, despite not being a huge racing fan. The games always looked really awesome and I was a bit jealous of the consoles. Yeah, it's EA so blah blah whine whine, you guys can piss and moan and I'll be having a kick ass time playing.

Here's the Burnout Paradise review for the consoles at gamespot: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox36...ary&tag=summary;review

Good thing, cuz Burnout really has very little to do with racing. It is just complete chaos and bedlam on the streets, the actual racing components of the game are horribly unbalanced, the physics on the game stretch what even pure arcade racers would use and it's complete lack of depth or technique utilized to win races makes it so most remotely competent button mashers with good reflexes have as much chance in a race as a seasoned player. That said, man is it fun

I hope you can still use a 360 controller since I prefer it to using a keyboard to play racing games.

I was waiting to buy this game on the 360 but if it's coming out for the PC also I'll get it for that instead.

Agreed. The only real benefit that I see from this is if the game will be offered for less on Steam (since it's an EA game, I guess it won't).

Well as I don't own a console I saw it coming to the PC as a benefit

You could always get Flatout instead. I like Flatout better than Burnout because of those cool minigames.

FlatOut = much slower than burnout, but way more destructive. Plowing through fences, boxes, etc. is awesome, and the enemy racers don't go down if you just bump them into a wall. They also don't respawn if you actually manage to kill them.
